Algaecide
A concentrated, dry granular formula that destroys and prevents all types of algae, including green, black and mustard algae. The special formulated copper compound acts as an active algae killer that remains active in the water for up to two weeks. This formula also contains a clarifying agent that helps to clear hazy water caused by dead algae.
Clarifier
Coagulate and bind suspended micro particles (too small to be trapped by the filter) together. The particles then become large enough to be trapped by the filter. Suspended particles can be anything from organic matter like pollen, to oils and lotions, to fine dust and dirt, to dead algae cells.
Floc
Flocculants are used to bind small particles of dirt, dust, dead algae, and organic matter into larger clumps. The filter traps the larger particles to effectively clear cloudy water and improve filter efficiency and overall water clarity.
Maintainer
Provides a residual of 0.5 to 1.0 ppm of copper in the pool water. This helps prevent algae blooms and also aids in the oxidation of swimmer waste and organic contaminants.

Spread evenly across pool surface, avoiding coping and any stairs.
Run filter overnight
Let your filter circulate the treatment thoroughly through the system.
Backwash and vacuum
The next day, backwash the filter and vacuum your pool or spa.
Second backwash
Backwash the filter a second time after vacuuming.
Return to normal schedule
When water is clear, return your filter back to its normal operating schedule.

For closing treatment, add Magic MINZ 1 week before closing. (Please refer to labels for more details.)
